Storm damage restoration is a 10 billion dollar per year industry. Every time there is a severe storm, damage must be paid for and fixed. Your homeowners policy in most cases covers storm damage to your roof.
Insurance companies get rich by collecting premiums, not paying claims. Let's ask Google
Google: Does my homeowners insurance cover damage to my roof from wind and hail? After reading the answer either believe what Google says, or assume it is a giant conspiracy and Google is in on it. :"
Google: If there is sufficient damage to my roof, does my insurance company have to replace my entire roof? Again the answer will be in the affirmative.
Google: If my roof has discontinued shingles, and there is damage from a windstorm. Does my insurance have to replace my entire roof? The answer in nearly every State is YES!!!
There are hundreds of conventions per year dealing with insured structure restoration. Just in the Dallas Fort Worth area of Texas alone, there are over 7,000 insurance roofers helping homeowners every day get compensated for their damaged roofs, siding etc. Texas does have a lot of hail!

The contractor sent out to inspect your roof will happily provide you wiith references and all licensing and insurance information about their roofing company. He/She is not trying to sell you a roof. Either you have enough damage that they can get you approved or you don't. They only want to do your roof if they can ethically get the insurance company to pay for it.
Billboards cost on average 4,000 dollars per month if you start seeing them in your area, ask yourself which is more likely. That the billboards about hail/wind damage in your area are profitable for the roofing companies to put up because insurance companies are buying roofs, or because they are just burning money as a practical joke. Which makes more sense???
Add a footnote if this applies to your business
